Casa Ojalà, the sustainable luxury travel is in Val d’Orcia

The ancient heart of the Val d’Orcia has married one of the most incredible and visionary projects of modern architecture.

A sustainable luxury travel experience made possible thanks to the collaboration between Casa Ojalà, the exceptional and award-winning project by architect Beatrice Bonzanigo and Rosewood Castiglion del Bosco, the dream location of Massimo and Chiara Ferragamo.

Ojalà house

Presented for the first time at Milan Design Week 2019, the design by Casa Ojalà won that year’s Gold A’Design Aeard award.

It is a modular house, a small suite of 27 square meters that can transform itself with over 1000 interior solutions.

Double bedroom, single bedroom, bathroom, terrace and living room can continuously transform into each other thanks to a complex game of pulleys that magically makes the rooms appear and disappear.

The essence of this incredible structure lies in being able to become one with the surrounding environment: its circular plan offers an immersive experience never experienced before.

Luxury and sustainability

Respect for the environment is the main feature of Beatrice Bonzanigo’s project: Casa Ojalà could not fail to be sustainable.

All the materials that make up the eclectic furnishings of Casa Ojalà are carefully chosen: fabrics and woods are totally eco-sustainable.

The structure contains a rainwater collection system and photovoltaic panels that make it even greener.

Casa Ojalà in Rosewood Castiglion del Bosco

Guests of the exclusive resort, surrounded by vineyards and hills of the Maremma, will enjoy the most incredible luxury green experience possible.

The guest suite provides a spectacular view of the over 200 hectares of Rosewood countryside and perfectly embraces the mission of sustainable luxury that has always characterized this enchanting corner of the Val d’Orcia.

In fact, the resort is not only completely plastic free but is pleased to welcome its guests, including suites, villas and from today Casa Ojalà, making them immerse in a vegetable garden that houses over 180 types of organic plants.
