The long Easter weekend is just around the corner and, rain or shine, it’s time to get out and enjoy everything the capital has to offer. And, with four blissful days free from the office, emails and the stresses of work life, you’ve plenty of time to fill. Of course, you could grab your favourite picnic basket and head out on one of London’s best park walks – but didn’t you do enough of that during lockdown? With IRL events back in full force, London is bursting with options for a memorable weekend, from child-friendly Easter egg hunts to cocktail masterclasses strictly for grown-ups. Here’s our guide to the best things to do in London for Easter 2023.

This Easter Weekend, Westminster’s Corinthia hotel will be offering a special edition of its classic afternoon tea served in the elegant surrounds of the Crystal Moon Lounge. Devised by executive chef André Garrett, the menu kicks off with a range of traditional finger sandwiches – including Coronation chicken, egg mayonnaise with truffle, and pickled cucumber with goat’s curd – before moving on to scones with jam and clotted cream and a range of special patisserie inspired by the season. Indulge in yuzu and mango religieuse, milk chocolate and salted caramel mousee, lemon drizzle cake and pecan brownie, all washed down with a selection of fine bespoke teas and champagnes.
